Real Time Inquiry


Real Time Inquiry of policy, claims and billing data has traditionally been offered as a link to a carrier's web site which allows the agent to sign on with their password and user identification and enter the basic account data for the client details to be accessed. This process works well, but agents prefer workflow that allows them to complete these and other daily work activities from within their management systems.

NxTech provides carriers with Real Time Inquiry workflow with options to fit the carrier needs. You can continue to offer your portal process for agents that do not use a management system. The two new Real Time options NxTech can design, build, and maintain for you are:

  1. NxTech ConneXt software receives the request for inquiry details from the agent through Transformation Station™ or TransactNOW® and we return a URL link that will take the requester directly into your carrier inquiry site while authenticating all security requirements. The advantages of this process are that the agent stays within their management system workflow and has access to necessary inquiry details without need for a separate sign-in process.
  2. NxTech ConneXt software receives the request for inquiry details as described in option 1, but instead of returning a link, the software accesses your systems to gather a pre-determined level of detail for each inquiry type and responds with an HTML or PDF page displaying the current inquiry details and providing a link to allow the agent to still further review account information as allowed. The advantages of this process are that the agent stays within their management system for workflow and is able to receive the inquiry details (in Real Time) on a response page that they can integrate into their management system as a transaction to be stored and viewed later.
